Person-centered therapy, also known as client-centered therapy, is a therapeutic approach that prioritizes the individual’s unique experience. Embracing empathy, unconditional positive regard, and congruence enables individuals to explore and understand their feelings, fostering self-growth and ultimately leading them toward self-actualization.
